What do I need to get married in Las Vegas?
As long as both parties are 18 or over, all you will need is one form of I.D., (driver's license, passport, or birth certificate) and $77 cash. There are no blood tests or waiting period in Las Vegas and the process usually takes around 15 to 20 minutes, if there is no line. If a person is 16 or 17, they'll need parental consent, so either one of the parents will need to go to the License Bureau with the minor with proper I.D. (birth certificate for the minor) or the minor will need a notarized affidavit giving permission for the marriage. If the minor is 15 or younger, a court order is required from a local magistrate.
2. Can I get married without a marriage license?
Unfortunately, you are unable to get married in Las Vegas without a marriage license.
3. Can I bring a marriage license from another state?
No, if you plan to get married in Las Vegas, you will need a marriage license issued by the state of Nevada.
4. If I get married in Las Vegas, will my wedding be recognized outside of Las Vegas?
Yes, if you get married in Las Vegas, your marriage is recognized worldwide.
5. Do you perform Renewal of Vows ceremony?
Absolutely, and it's simple! Renewal ceremonies are growing more and more popular. Basically, you can choose from any of our packages, as they are applicable to weddings and renewals. The only difference is, you do not need a marriage license and you don't need to bring your original.
6. Do you perform civil ceremonies?
Yes, our Ministers can perform either a Christian ceremony or civil ceremony. Just let your Consultant know if you have a preference.
7. How much is the Minister's fee?
The Minister's fee is $60 cash and paid directly to your Minister, after your ceremony.
8. Do you offer Catholic Ceremonies?
Unfortunately a Catholic Priest will not come to a chapel, so we are not able to offer Catholic Ceremonies.
9. Do you offer Jewish Ceremonies?
Yes, we do offer Jewish Ceremonies, but please check with your Consultant for details and availability.
10. Do you offer limousine service?
Yes, as long as you choose one of our packages, we can extend complimentary limousine service from your hotel, to the chapel, and then return to your hotel after your ceremony. Our limousines are based on availability, so please check with your Consultant for details and availability.
11. What are your hours?
We are open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, every day of the year, including all holidays and weekends.
12. Do you offer weddings outside the chapel?
Yes, we currently offer Grand Canyon Helicopter weddings, Night Flight Helicopter weddings, and Red Rock Canyon weddings.
13. What type of photography do you offer?
Currently, our photographs are taken digitally. Shortly after your wedding, your photos are posted online, where we provide you with a username & password to preview the photos, and make your selection for prints. Additional photos can also be ordered through the web site. Once your photos are selected, they are mailed to your residence.
14. When do I receive the Digital Video?
Our photo department will email you a link to download your digital video roughly 48 hours after the ceremony.
15. When do I receive my marriage certificate?
After you are married, the Minister will explain and hand you your original marriage certificate.
16. Are your flowers real or silk?
We offer fresh and life-like silk flowers. Just let us know which you prefer when you make reservations.
17. What is your deposit policy?
We require a $100 non-refundable deposit for most of our packages to confirm your reservations($350 for Concert with the King and The Famous Dueling Elvis Package). The balance is due upon arrival.
18. What if I need to cancel or reschedule my wedding?
If you choose to reschedule your wedding, we will apply your deposit to your new reservation and no monies are lost. If you decide to cancel your reservation, the deposit is non-refundable.
19. When should I make reservations?
That's entirely up to you. As a rule of thumb, we recommend making reservations once your trip to Las Vegas is confirmed. This will allow more of a selection for availability.
20. Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we do. Our weddings are performed on a reserved basis, then it's first come, first served.
21. How do I make reservations?
You can either call the chapel to make reservations by phone, or you can submit an online reservation through our web site.
22. Can I make changes after I make reservations?
Yes, you can make changes to your reservation once it is confirmed. However, some items require a certain amount of time to organize, so please keep that in mind when making changes.
